Stacie De Haro
High Conflict Resolution Analyst
Stacie De Haro is Shaffer Law’s High Conflict Resolution Analyst. She assists our clients with finding effective and amicable solutions to their family law disputes. Additionally, Ms. De Haro manages the day to day inner workings of the Shaffer Law Office.
Ms. De Haro is currently a law student at the respected Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law. Once admitted to the Bar, she hopes to use her fluency in Spanish to assist Ventura County’s Spanish-speaking only community. Ms. De Haro completed her undergraduate studies at Oxnard College and Claremont McKenna College with a focus in Early Childhood Development. While there, she became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Prior to working at Shaffer Law, she spent three years working as a preschool assistant. Her experience working with children enhances her perspective on a multitude of family law matters.
When not at work or at law school, she can be found studying for her classes at a local coffeeshop, spending time with her family, or repeatedly watching The Office.
Lauren Elizabeth Nicholson received her Juris Doctor with Highest Honors from the Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law in 2017. While there, she earned certificates of concentration in both Family Law and Business Law. She was graduated first in her class as class valedictorian, and she passed the California Bar Examination on her only attempt.
During law school, Ms. Nicholson volunteered for the Ventura County Superior Court’s Family Law Self-Help Center. She also held a number of private internships in the county. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then received her Master of Arts in English, with Honors, from California State University, Bakersfield, studying literature with an emphasis on stylistic analyses.
Ms. Nicholson has diverse interests and enjoys a variety of activities, including playing the oboe, dog training, and gaming. She also has extensive experience as a Ventura County Foster Parent.
Ms. Nicholson gives back to her community by volunteering at the Conejo Free Legal Clinic.
Christina Shaffer has been practicing Family Law since 2004. Ms. Shaffer has just received the NAWBO Bravo 2019 Award for Community Advocate of the Year. Ms. Shaffer’s office just recently became a winner of the 2018 Ventura County Star Reader’s Choice Award for the best East County Law Office. In addition to being a recipient of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Award, Ms. Shaffer has received numerous awards for her services as a Family Law Attorney and advocate for victims of Domestic Violence.
Ms. Shaffer earned her Juris Doctor from the highly acclaimed University of La Verne College of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While in college, Ms. Shaffer participated in academic debate organizations, representing her University in Speech and Debate competitions.
Ms. Shaffer is skilled and experienced to represent cases ranging from Mediation to high conflict Litigation. Additionally, she is a member of the Ventura County Collaborative Family Law Professionals through which the attorneys and parties work together to resolve their case without legal conflict or court battles.
Ms. Shaffer enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children. She’s actively involved in local youth athletic organizations, and Shaffer Law has been privileged to sponsor a variety of youth sports teams.
